Denver, Lakewood & Littleton Oral Surgeon, Haeman Noori, DDS
After spending his early childhood in Charlottesville, Virginia, Dr. Noori grew up in central Massachusetts and graduated from the Massachusetts Academy of Mathematics & Sciences as his class valedictorian and St. John’s High School. He then went on to college at MIT and Cornell, ultimately graduating from Cornell with distinction in all subjects and an A.B. in History and minor in Psychology. It was while there that his interest in healthcare truly began and he spent considerable time working at a national, non-profit public health organization that exposed him to many amazing individuals devoting their careers to selflessly tackling initiatives aimed at improving the lives of many.
Upon graduation, he proceeded to medical school for two years but then later changed career paths and entered the private sector. His love for health care, however, eventually reclaimed his attention and after completing a year as a research fellow at Duke University, he came to appreciate the field of dental medicine and then graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Noori most appreciated being able to witness his Tarheels win a national title in basketball during his tenure there, but he also discovered his passion for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and had the privilege to develop some early mentorships and experiences while a dental student.
Dr. Noori obtained his certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Indiana University in Indianapolis. While there, he obtained a full-scope training with a strong emphasis on maxillofacial trauma and reconstructive surgery, oral pathology, orthognathic surgery, anesthesia, dentoalveolar surgery and implantology in addition to completing nearly a year of a general surgery internship. Later, as a chief resident, he helped cover facial surgery cases at the two busiest Level I trauma centers in the state as well as one of the nation’s largest children’s hospitals. He also served as a district representative of the national resident organization and developed a keen awareness of important policies affecting oral health.
